LoopCraft adds version history with visual diff for .loop.md files (2026-08-16)
Every save now creates a restorable snapshot, and a side-by-side diff shows exactly which nodes, edges, and prompts changed between any two versions of a loop.
← Back to NewsStarting 2026-08-16, LoopCraft ships version history with visual diff for loop definitions. Every time you save a loop, the builder keeps a snapshot — nodes, edges, prompts, tool bindings, and the YAML frontmatter — so you can restore any earlier state with one click instead of rebuilding from memory.
The new diff view compares any two snapshots side by side: added nodes appear in green, removed nodes in red, and changed prompts or tool settings are highlighted inline, so a quick glance answers the question every team asks after a loop misbehaves — what changed since it last worked?
Version history works directly on the .loop.md files you export, which means snapshots stay meaningful even when definitions move between the visual builder and your repository. You can name milestones, such as 'before adding the evaluator branch', to keep long-running projects navigable.
